Modeling

I love to do amateur modeling. I'm not one of those crazy modelers who buy subsriptions to Peggysims (nothing wrong if you do, of course!), but I do like to do it for fun.
Modeling can be very easy if you just know how. The first thing to do when you model is to set a scene. I'm not saying to build the whole house; maybe just the little room you need.

Something else that can be useful is a white wall with lots of lighting. The purest, whitest wall you can get (Use Create-A-Style and set the color to 255-255-255), with lots and lots of lights! Even if you don't end up adding some special effects, it can look really cool and professional. And if you do add effects, it creates a very good base

You also need to know your editing program. Even if you're just sticking to MS Paint (meekly raises hand), you have to know the ins and outs of the program. From coloring up to dodging, effects are generally appreciated in any model shoot.
I used this just with the effects on Paint and Picnik. Of course, if I had Photoshop, it would be a neater, cleaner, easier, quicker edit. But right now, it looks like I used Photoshop, doesn't it?

Additionally, experimenting with a sim's actions (or using the moviemaker cheat) can generate really cool or comical poses.

And if there's anything I didn't cover, you'll be able to find *anything* right here:

Enjoy modelling! :)
